Car locksmith or dealer?

A dealer usually needs the car brought in, and a new key can take days to order. We come to the car, cut and code the key on the spot, and in most cases you drive away the same day. Key systems on some newer models are different, so if your car is a recent model, check with our technician on the call that we can do your key before we come out.

All makes and models

We work on most Australian, Japanese, Korean, European and American cars, including Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, Ford, Holden, Kia, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen and many more. Utes and vans too. Not sure about yours? Call and we'll tell you before anyone is sent out.

What happens when you call

  1. On the phone: tell us the car (make, model and year), where it is and what's happened. You get a starting price and an ETA. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
  2. At the car: the technician checks the car and confirms the price before touching anything.
  3. The job: the car is opened, or the key is cut and programmed, right there.
  4. Payment: by card once the job is done, never before. Any key or lock we supply and fit carries our 90-day parts and labour warranty.

Proof of ownership

Before we open a car or make a key, we check ID and proof that you own the car or are allowed to drive it, such as the rego papers or a licence that matches the rego. It protects you, and it's the law for licensed locksmiths. Our Queensland Security Provider Licence is 4512789, and you can check it on the Queensland Government register.
